Hey everyone! I retired from the Marine Corps as an EOD Technician in 2016 and moved with my wife, Heather and daughter, Izzy from San Diego. Upon retirement we decided to begin a new chapter in our lives by starting to plan and build Slickfin in 2017. I've been home brewing since 2012 and was supplying beer to family and friends whenever I could. Brewing beer and creating recipes allows me to use the artistic side of my brain, something I wasn't able to do for the past 20 years. After traveling all around the world numerous times I can take bits and pieces of what I have seen, smelt and tasted and incorporate that into each batch. I couldn’t see myself doing anything different and hope that every sip is better than the last. From our family to yours, we couldn’t be happier to serve you. SFEOMFD.

Heather March

Hi everyone, I’m Heather. Kris and I got married in 2004 while in the Marine Corps and had our daughter Isabella in 2014. I’m from West Fort Ann, NY and grew up on Hadlock Pond. When Kris retired in 2016, we decided to move back to NY, after spending 10 years in CA. I have traveled a lot and Upstate NY is by far my favorite place to live! In July of 2017, Kris and I decided to move forward with our passions, Kris’ passion to brew and my passion for hospitality! Slickfin Brewing Company was created and built from our love for each other, for the craft, and for our family and friends who we couldn’t have done this without! We want to share that love with everyone who steps through our doors! Every time we open we are not only welcoming you into our taproom, but into our second home. Liz Palmer

Hey Slickfiner’s! For those who don’t know me, my name is Liz. You can find me behind the bar, pouring your favorite brews on Friday nights! I’ve been married for 17 years to my very best friend, Jason and have a 16 year old son named Caden who I adore. Co-owner Heather March and I have been longtime friends, having grown up together in nearby West Fort Ann. My journey with Slickfin Brewing Co. began early on during the building renovation process. I loved watching the progress unfold and was equally excited for my friends! My husband and I attended the Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting on March 15th. 2019 and have been “hooked” ever since. As business boomed, I jumped on behind the bar and haven’t looked back. I’m known affectionately as “The Fun Boss” and look forward to sharing a smile, laugh and drink with you all very soon.
